Miami Beach, Florida - Donna R. Blaustein (née Rosenbaum), born on August 11, 1943, in Baltimore, MD, passed away at the age of 81 on November 6, 2024, in Miami Beach, Florida. A long-time resident of South Florida, Donna was loved by many and liked and respected by all who knew her. She loved to travel with her husband Arnold, to numerous places around the world from London to Israel to safari to the Galapagos Islands. Her zest for life was contagious; as she once said "every stage of life is the best stage".

Donna was an attorney who received her JD from University of Maryland in 1971 and her LLM in Estate Planning from University of Miami in 1995.

Donna believed deeply in the importance of giving back to her community. She held notable positions at the Foundation of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, Temple Beth Sholom, and Lighthouse for the Blind where in 2009 she was recognized as a Woman of Vision for her contributions. Along with her husband Arnold, Donna was well-known for her philanthropy and generosity - she embodied the concept of leaving the world a better place.

Donna was deeply committed to her family, always ready with a supporting word, sage advice, or a helping hand. Her strength and conviction in her beliefs were lessons that she taught in both word and deed. Her ability to face all of the many joys and challenges that life brings will be forever remembered by all who knew her.

She leaves behind her husband and partner of over 60 years, Arnold Blaustein; her children, Richard and Keri Blaustein, and Margaret Blaustein; her grandchildren, Josh, Megan, Nicole, Jordan, and Shayna; her sister Natalie (Michael) de Maar, and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is predeceased by her parents, Paul and Vera Rosenbaum, and her beloved brother Edward.

A service will be held in her honor at Temple Beth Sholom, located at 4144 Chase Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33140, on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 9:45 a.m.
