Donna Jean Boyce

Donna Jean Eslick Boyce, age 77, of Shelbyville passed away on October 1, 2024, at Ascension St. Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Monday, October 7, 2024, at Doak-Howell Funeral Home with Brother Buddy Mills and Brother Benny Pulley officiating. Burial will follow in the Simpson Cemetery in the Rover Community of Bedford County.
Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
Donna was born on May 8, 1947, in Fayetteville, TN to the late Milton and Elizabeth Hunt Eslick. She was a cherished homemaker and a quintessential farmer's wife working in partnership with her husband on the family farm, while dedicating her life to her family, extended family, and service to the Lord. Her passions included quilting, sewing, homemaking, and canning. Donna and J.B. are currently members of Bedford Church of Christ and prior to that they were active members of Shelbyville Mills Church of Christ for forty-seven years.
Donna is not leaving a legacy etched in a stone monument but woven in the fabric of her family and all who knew and loved her. Donna leaves behind her loving husband of fifty-six years, J.B. Boyce, and their children; Sandra (Gordon) Roberts of the Wheel Community, Michelle (Josh) Sudberry of Wartrace, and Gina (Chad) Holt of Shelbyville. She was a proud grandmother to Jill Roberts, Emily Roberts, Michael Roberts, Mathew Roberts, Maverick Roberts, Kelly Baugher, Justin Sudberry, Morgan Sudberry, Jenna Ann (Josh) Vanzant, Chanler (Cadence) Holt, and Marshall Holt. She is also survived by her siblings Jerry (Kaye) Eslick, Joyce (Melvin) Burton, Sherry Hamblin all of Lynchburg, and Kim (Rick) Burks of Wartrace. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, June Campbell and Jim Eslick.
