Donna Marie Briggs

Donna was born in San Diego, California. Her father served his country for twenty-five years as an enlisted man in the United States Navy, which provided Donna with ample opportunities to travel to many states and foreign countries and to attend various schools. Donna graduated from Notre Dame Academy, in Schenectady, New York in 1966. She subsequently relocated to Alexandria, Virginia in 1968 and began her career as a civilian employee of the United States Navy at the Pentagon. Donna moved to Tennessee in the early 1980's and continued her career by working at the Naval Support Activity Mid-South, located in Millington, Tennessee. Donna retired in 2011 with 43 years of civilian service with the United States Navy. Donna was active in the Clopton United Methodist Church in Tennessee until ill health prevented her from continuing. Donna is survived by her brother, Earl and his sister-in-law, Rose.
