She also traveled to New England, California, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Quatar, as well as the homes of her cousins in Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee. During her years as a youth she spent time in Fayette, Alabama with her close cousins, Doris and Margaret and they in turn visited her in Mobile. Many memories were made during those years. Also a blessing in Donna's life was the friendship of Mary Ann, Mary Francis and Linda. Their friendship began in high school and continued through the years with birthday celebrations, travel and many fun outings. Surviving Donna are cousins, Larry Dillon, Margaret Day, Doris Johnston, JoAnn Benison, Patsy Hughes and Larry Ladner. She also enjoyed visiting and keeping up with the children of these cousins. During the last years of Donna's life she was lovingly and patiently cared for by kind nurses and devoted sitters. Her charm and determination came through, making their job easier and more enjoyable.
