Donna, 93, of Brookfield, WI died peacefully October 17, 2024, at Angels Grace Hospice. She was born on Jan. 13, 1931, in Chippewa Falls, the daughter of William and Emily (Flesch) Loiselle. She attended Holy Ghost Grade School and graduated from McDonell High School in Chippewa Falls.
She relocated to the Milwaukee area in the 1950's. She was social, strong and independent. She loved to travel and attend shows. She was always open to trying new activities from tap dancing to music lessons and more. She was a long-time member of TOPS, Red Hat Society, Mondays with Molly, Fun Luv'N Grannies and St. John Vianney in Brookfield. She formed many dear friendships through her participation in these groups. She also loved attending the Oktoberfest in Chippewa Falls with her sister Lois for over 20 years.
Donna is preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Dau and her husband Richard 'Dick' Burgermeister; her siblings William 'Buzz' Loiselle and Lois Kloss; and her niece Cindy Loiselle Nazer. She will always be remembered fondly by her surviving dear sister-in-law Nancy Loiselle as well her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Donna was a dear stepmother to 7 adult children and spouses: Thomas (Sandra); Barbara Roske, deceased (Jay); Kathryn Mihelich (Michael, deceased) (Wally Hauer); Mary Ann Zellmer, deceased (Peter); Richard (Mary); Joseph (Julie) and Paul, deceased. She is also survived by 17 step-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 8th at ST. JOHN VIANNEY CATHOLIC CHURCH located at 1755 N. Calhoun Rd. in Brookfield, WI with visitation from 9am until the time of service at 11am. The interment will be in Pinelawn Memorial Park located at 10700 W. Capitol Drive in Milwaukee, WI.
