Donna Rae Carder, 70, of Frostburg, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024, at UMPC Western Maryland surrounded by her family.
Born September 27, 1953, to the late Allen and Mabel (Cotton) Clark. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Gail Clark.
Donna was the heart of the family keeping everyone together and always taking care of everyone and putting them first. She loved animals and especially watching birds. She loved baking and feeding others with her talent. Donna was an avid flower lover enjoying her flowerbeds.
Donna is survived by her husband of 46 years, William Carder; children, Melissa Myers, Shaun Carder with Vanessa, and Michelle Ritzert and husband Jason; grandchildren, Jaden Brown, Molly Ritzert, Madison Ward and Olivia Fabbri; great grandson, Jameson Ward. Also surviving are her siblings; Gary Clark and wife Joyce, Patricia Winebrenner and husband Roger, Greg Clark and wife Tracy, Steve Clark and wife Lynn, and John Clark and wife Karen.
Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg on Monday, September 30, 2024, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm and Tuesday, October 1, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 11:00 am at Durst Funeral Home with the Rev. George Harpold officiating.
Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park following the funeral.
