Donna Yeilding Bryant Carr, 82, of San Angelo, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 31, 2026, following a courageous and lengthy battle with ovarian cancer.
Visitation will be held from 2:00–4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Harper Funeral Home, San Angelo. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2026, at PaulAnn Church, San Angelo, with Pastor Clydel Chapman officiating. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Odessa.
Donna was born on March 13, 1943, in Coryell County, Texas, to Albert and Blanche (Clemons) Yeilding. She graduated from Permian High School in 1961 and continued her education at Odessa College and Columbia Business College. In 1968, Donna became the proud owner of Donna’s Fashion Boutique in Odessa, a business she poured her heart into and truly loved. Through her work, she formed lasting friendships with employees and customers alike. After 27 successful years, she closed her boutique and later joined the Odessa Chamber of Commerce, where she worked until her retirement in 2013.
Donna married Ray Bryant in 1963, and they shared nearly 20 years of marriage before his passing. In 1984, she married Roger Carr. Upon retiring, Donna and Roger moved to San Angelo to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren.
Donna was a devoted and loving mother who cherished every moment spent with her daughter, Christie. Family meant everything to her, she delighted in family gatherings and reunions and treasured her weekly conversations with her sisters. Donna adored her grandchildren and took great joy in attending their events, always offering unwavering love, encouragement, and support. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Roger Carr; children Christie (Bryant) Wolfe (Wes), Richard “Rick” Carr, and Cynthia Carr; grandchildren Richard “Jr” Carr Jr. (Kimberly), Nicholas “Nick” Carr, Erin Walker, Paxton Wolfe, Kristopher Carr, and Karis Wolfe; sisters Martha “Marty” Cypert McKinley (James) of Gilmer and Kay Forrester (Larry) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and numerous extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Ray Bryant; and her sister, Bonnie Yeilding.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Gentiva Hospice and Dr. James Hall for their compassionate and excellent care.
Pallbearers will be Wes Wolfe, Paxton Wolfe, Larry Forrester, James McKinley, Richard “Jr” Carr Jr, Nicholas “Nick” Carr and Richard “Rick” Carr (honorary pallbearer).
