Kathleen Mae Felling Jackson, age 84, peacefully went to her heavenly home on February 6, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Kathleen, known to most as Kathy, was born on October 26, 1941, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Clarence Frank Felling and Martha Marie Walz Felling. She graduated from Saint Joseph’s Academy in 1959.

Kathy met the love of her life, David, while carhopping at Sugar Dave’s A&W Root Beer, where he frequently stopped for burgers and root beer. Their love story began there, and they were married on April 29, 1961.

Kathy enjoyed ice skating, bowling, riding motorcycles, camping, and traveling—visiting all 50 states and several countries abroad. Over the years, she held many jobs, including secretarial and administrative work, selling Avon, hairdressing, and waitressing.

In 1977, Kathy and David gave their lives to Christ during a Marriage Encounter Weekend. From that moment on, her love for Christ and the church flourished. She was devoted to God’s Word and to prayer, especially praying for others. You could often find Kathy studying her Bible in local McDonald’s, Whataburger, or Burger King.

Kathy was an incredible wife, a wonderful mother, grandmother, and Grammie, and a dear friend to many.

She is survived by her husband, David Jackson; her daughter, Kris (Mack) Roller; her son, Jim (Trina) Jackson; and daughter-in-law, Joyce Jackson. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Corey (Jenna) Jackson, Shayna Henderson, Leah (Jason) Walla, Luke (Sommer) Roller, Jamin (Carrie) Roller, John-Mark Roller, Heidi Jackson, and Jake (Renée) Jackson, along with 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Martha Felling; her brothers, Clarence Felling Jr. and James Felling; her son, Garry Jackson; and her grandson, Ryan Henderson.

Kathy will be deeply missed, but as she often said, “Goodbye for now.”We rest in the hope and promise that we will see her again one day.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Glen Meadows Baptist Church at 10:30am.
