Donna C. Collins

Donna C. Collins, age 65, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. A life long resident of North Georgia, she was of the Baptist faith and retired from Shaw Industries. Throughout her life, Donna loved sewing. She made many blankets, quilts, clothing and costumes for her children and grandchildren. Donna was known for her cooking, she loved to cook or bake for all of her families' gatherings.

More than anything, Donna's life centered around her family, especially her grandchildren. Whether at a game, school event, or special occasion, she was always present-offering encouragement, love, and unwavering support.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Junior Hicks and Betty Bradley Webster; her brothers, Johnny Ray Hicks and Jerry Lee Hicks.

Donna is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Dwan Collins; her children, Nicholas (Amanda) Webster, Carrie (Patrick) McCarver, Amy (Steve) Mines, Destiny (Jason) Simpson; her sister, Teresa (Boe) Thomas, numerous grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren as well as close friend, Peggy Lowrance.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 and from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 in the Wallis – Stewart Chapel of Wilson Funeral Homes with Cathy Taylor officiating.
