Donna Jean Cook, age 86 united with her savior in heaven on September 12, 2025. Born September 5th, 1939, to the late Fred and Mary (nee Schweitzer) Martin. Beloved mother of Ed Cook Jr., Laura Rogers, and the late Doug Cook. Loving Grandmother of Heather, Ashley, Doug Jr., Emily, Abby, Hannah, Francis, Kenny, and the late Ed Cook III. Great-Grandmother of 7 Great-Grandchildren. Cherished Sister of Jackie Peters and the late Sunny Martin, Red Martin, and Mary McClanahan. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Donna was a Christian who dedicated her life to her family, her church, and her God. A lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Newtown, she helped in Wedding preparations, church meals, and anything else they needed help with. She would always be there to help when needed. She helped with Girl Scouts, and was a member of the Eastern Stars.
A time for visitation will take place Tuesday, September 16th, 2025, at the Moore Family Funeral Home - Newtown, 6708 Main St. Newtown, OH, 45244, from 11am to 1pm. Service to follow at 1pm. Burial will take place at Flag Spring Cemetery, 3541 Round Bottom Rd. Newtown, OH 45244.
