Donna Craft Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mills Funeral Home, Peters & Murray Chapel - Grand Ledge on Dec. 22, 2025.
Donna Carol Craft passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025, at the age of 83, in her hometown of Ionia, Michigan. Born on December 28, 1941, to the late Frederick Hugh and Evelyn Maude (Cowell) Culp Sr., Donna's vibrant spirit and infectious laughter became a beacon of joy for all who knew her.
A proud graduate of Ionia High School's class of 1959, Donna carried with her the memories and friendships of her formative years throughout her life. She enjoyed cooking for her loved ones, taking leisurely car rides through the countryside, or listening to her favorite songs.
Donna's love for animals shone brightly in her adoration for cats, each of whom she treated as a beloved member of her family. Her whimsical hat collection was a testament to her unique sense of style and her playful nature. Known among her friends and family as a notorious prankster, Donna never missed an opportunity to inject a dose of fun and surprise into the lives of those around her.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Roxanne Craft; her adored grandchildren, Zachary Wayne Tucker and Brenna Nickaye Howard; her caring niece, Donna (John) Langhammer; and her devoted nephew, Mark (Marsha) Culp. Donna's memory will also be cherished by several other nieces and nephews who were touched by her vibrant personality and enduring kindness.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, son, Daniel Lee Craft, and her siblings, Frederick H. (Arvonne) Culp Jr., Jean Eve (Foster) Lake, James Richard (June) Culp, and David Charles (Janet) Culp.
As were Donna's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Donations can be made in loving memory of Donna to the Ionia County Animal Shelter, 3853 Sparrow Dr., Ionia, MI 48846. For online condolences please visit www.millsfuneral.com
