Donna H. Crosier, a cherished soul who touched the lives of many, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2024, at the age of 69, surrounded by love in Trophy Club, Texas. Born on September 13, 1954, in Camden, NJ, Donna was the daughter of Ernest "Reed" Hirst and Nancy Weintz Hirst, and had roots deeply embedded in New Jersey, where she spent much of her life.
Donna was a graduate of Shawnee High School in Medford, NJ, Class of 1972 and Goldey-Beacom College in Wilmington Delaware. She began her career in education and then retired from Binkley's 5 & 10 after nearly 20 years of service. Donna was a long-time resident of Medford Lakes, NJ, where she grew up and raised her family. She enjoyed volunteering at her children's school, working on the annual Canoe Carnival and participating in all the community events.
With a love for music instilled by her mother, Donna played the piano and was a member of the Garden State Choral. While living in NJ, she raised her family in Faith Presbyterian Church and later attended Medford United Methodist Church where she served as President of the Busy Bees, Secretary of the Medford United Methodist Women, sang in the choir and played in the bell choir. She immersed herself in the Texan community; volunteering at her grandkids school, forming close bonds at Milestone Church in Keller, joining various groups, and embracing new friendships with warmth and kindness.
Donna will be remembered for her unwavering compassion and infectious spirit of friendship. She leaves behind her daughter, Jennifer A. (Crosier) Eldridge and son-in-law Kyle, and her son, Jeffrey W. Crosier and daughter-in-law Alexandria, as well as grandchildren Mackenzie, Zackery, Olivia, Keegan, and Colton, who brought immense joy to her life.
A Memorial Service to honor and celebrate the life of Donna H. Crosier will be held on August 1, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Lucas Funeral Home - Chapel, 1601 South Main Street, Keller, Texas 76248.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Donna's name may be made to Milestone Church, 201 Mount Gilead Road Keller, Texas 76248 or HEADStrong Foundation, serving cancer patients and their families in the greater Philadelphia area, 1330 MacDade Blvd. #2, Woodlyn, PA 19094.
