Donna Marie Damian, age 69 of Gloucester, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025. Donna was a 1974 graduate of Gloucester High School. She served in the United States Army Reserve for ten years. She received her Associate's Degree in Business Administration from Rappahannock Community College, retiring after 32 years with Printpack in Williamsburg, VA. Donna's greatest passion was to love and care for animals, particularly dogs; she had a kind soul and helped others to the best of her ability, but she never lost her Italian voice. For over fifty years, Donna was like a sister to her best friends and caregivers, Ed and Beth Barry. It was a privilege to become her caregivers when early-onset Alzheimer's robbed her of her abilities. Upon her mother's death, she became a member of the Sterling and Barry families. They all loved her as their own. Donna was raised in the Catholic faith but attended Severn Church in Naxera for many years. Parents, Violet Sadler and John Damian, preceded her in death. Survivors include two brothers, Denis Damian (Star), of Salome, AZ, and Kevin Damian (Shelley) of Mechanicsville, VA, their children and grandchildren, and her latest canine rescue mutt, Timmy. In the last several years, Donna has had some awesome folks who have helped care for her at Gloucester House. The love shown to her is deeply appreciated. Services will be private. In Donna's memory, please consider a memorial contribution to the Gloucester Mathews Humane Society, PO Box 385, Gloucester, VA 23061, or the Alzheimer's Association online at alzh.org or Severn Church, Joyful Hands Ministry, 9066 Robins Neck Road, Gloucester, VA 23061. Services under the direction of Hogg Funeral Home.
