Donna Davis, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026, at the age of 85. She was surrounded by love and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Born on August 20, 1940 in Atoka, Oklahoma, Donna lived a life defined by kindness, warmth, and devotion to her family.
She found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially listening to old country music, finding comfort and joy in the classic songs that told stories of love, heartbreak, and home. Shopping was another favorite pastime, whether she was browsing or searching for just the right treasure. She was especially proud of her treasured antiques and always had a story to tell about each one, delighting family and friends with the memories behind them. These simple pleasures brought her happiness and were often best enjoyed when shared with family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Sally Muhl and her husband Peter; her son, Scott Davis and his wife Eydie; her grandchildren, John Muhl and his partner Erin Horne, Kristen Harmon and her husband Jason, and Sydni Davis; and her cherished great-grandson, Michael Harmon, who brought her immense happiness.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, TX, with a visitation beginning at 9:00 AM. Burial will take place at Grove Hill Memorial Park in Dallas following the service.
Though she will be deeply missed, her family is grateful for the beautiful life she lived and the love she shared so freely. Her stories, her music, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
