Donna M. DeMarini

Donna Marie Bruno DeMarini, 81, of North Haven, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025. Born in New Haven on November 15, 1944, Donna lived a life defined by devotion to her family, generosity, and the joy she found in everyday moments.
She was the daughter of Alfred and Teresa Bruno, both deceased, and was predeceased by her sister, Marylou Bruno Davis. She is survived by her brother, William Bruno; her beloved husband of 60 years, Giuliano DeMarini; her daughter, Claudia Cooper, and son in law, Charles Cooper; and her treasured grandsons, Ross, Paul, and Scott Cooper. Donna was also a loving aunt to Gina and William Bruno, and to Scott, Lisa, and Julia Davis. She also leaves behind brother's in law Robert (Kathleen) DeMarini and Scott B. Davis.
Donna cherished her roles as wife, mother, home-maker, and grandmother, expressing her love through countless acts of care and kindness. She had a passion for antiques, cooking for her family, collecting dolls, and took great pride in maintaining a warm and welcoming home. Her memory will live on in the traditions she nurtured, the love she gave, and the stories her family will carry forward.
A funeral service will be held Saturday morning at 11:30 in the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. 11 Wooster Place in New Haven. Relatives and friends may visit with Donna's family from 10:00am until time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Down Syndrome Society of Rhode Island or by check mailed to Down Syndrome Society of Rhode Island, 100 Washington Street, Unit 325, West Warwick, RI 02893.
