Donna M. Dobbs

Donna M. Dobbs, age 85, of Shawano passed away on Sunday January 4, 2026, in Appleton. Donna was born on January 1, 1941, Waupaca to the late Leonard and Gertrude (Slomska) Patzer. On April 8, 1961, she was united in marriage to James A. Dobbs in Shawano. Donna loved to shop, very detail oriented and enjoyed being outside gardening; even the smallest flower mattered. She always tried to help others when they needed it the most and cared for ill family members. Donna was a grandma and treated everyone like family.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Lori Ford; grandson, Troy Ford; great-grandson, Karl Cordts. She is further survived by many cousins, other relatives and friends.

Donna is preceded in death by her husband, James Dobbs; daughter, Kim Marie Dobbs; grandson, Earl Lee Ford; and parents, Leonard and Gertrude Patzer.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Tuesday January 13, 2026, at Swedberg Funeral Home with Richard Menning officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from noon until the time of service. Burial will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in the spring.
