Donna Marie Dungca, a loving and spirited soul, was called to her heavenly home on December 23, 2025, at the age of 80 in Taylors, South Carolina. Born in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Donna enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Eagles and the Philadelphia Phillies with family and friends.

As a retired Computer Data Entry Specialist, Donna approached every task with an unmatched dedication and meticulousness that mirrored her approach to life. Yet her career was only a mere chapter in a story rich with remarkable pursuits. An affectionate mother, she delighted in the lives of her daughters, Jacqueline Bradley (Kiel) and Laurie Brown (Randy), and step-daughter, Cathy Avila, providing them with a home brimming with love and laughter. Her family, intertwined in the fabric of her existence, also included her brother, Charles Loftus (Janet), and cousin, Sandra Lincoln (Bob), alongside her cherished grandchildren, JJ Bradley, Trey Bradley, Brice Bradley, Ian Brown, and Tyson Brown, each of whom held a special place in her vibrant heart, along with several nieces and nephews.

A spirited presence in her community, Donna was very active in her beloved church, Redeeming Grace Church in Simpsonville, SC, where her faith illuminated the lives of others like a lighthouse in a tempestuous sea. She approached every interaction with warmth, embodying the essence of true friendship and lending her kind spirit to countless lives touched by her unwavering devotion.

Her eclectic interests echoed the rich tapestry of her life. An avid reader, she found solace in the pages of her favorite books, which transported her to worlds unknown. Gardening was not just a pastime but a passion that bloomed as brightly as her connection to nature. Whether it was cultivating seeds of love or simply nurturing her garden, Donna cherished moments spent outdoors. The gentle crafts of crocheting allowed her hands to weave comfort and warmth into tangible forms, reflecting her nurturing nature.

With music playing a vital role in her life, Donna's time in the Army Band, where she played the trumpet, was a testament to her multifaceted talents and her commitment to serving her country. Music became a language through which she connected with her family, a way to express emotions that words often failed to convey.

Traveling was yet another adventure she embraced with open arms. Each journey was an opportunity to explore new landscapes and create lasting memories, yet no destination could ever rival the joy that her family and friends brought to her life.

Preceded in death by her husband, Martin Dungca, their love remains an enduring bond, echoing through the warmth of her cherished memories and the stories shared among family and friends.

As she journeys onward, may we remember Donna Marie Dungca not only for the beautiful legacy she leaves behind but for the radiant spirit she embodied—a spirited, loving presence that enriched the lives of those fortunate enough to have traveled alongside her. Her kind heart and faith-filled soul will forever echo in the hearts of those who loved her dearly.
