Donna Q. Duranceau, age 74, of Tomahawk, WI, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023, peacefully at her home. Donna was born on May 29, 1949, in Shawano, WI, to the late Frederick and Dimple (Nichols) Theilman. She was married to the love of her life, "her Elvis", Dale Duranceau, on November 2, 1968; he passed away on February 26, 2008.
Donna graduated from Antigo High School in 1967 and was married shortly after. She was a wonderful homemaker and talented cook and baker. Donna was proud of her home on Lake Alice where she lovingly raised her children. She enjoyed the lake life watching the wildlife and tending to her flower gardens and yard which was always decorated with her favorite ornaments. Donna was a life member of the DAV Auxiliary and dedicated her time to several veterans organizations. She enjoyed visits to the casino and was truly infatuated with everything Elvis. Her family meant the world to her and she cherished cookouts, playing cards, and family game nights with her children and grandchildren. Donna loved living in the Alice Hanke apartments where she found a wonderful social circle and met her dear friend, Cheryl Schmitter.
Survivors include her son, Troy (Glenda) Duranceau, of Tishomingo, MS; her daughters, Tina (Art) Moritz, of Tomahawk, Tammy Duranceau (Randal Anderson, Sr.), of Tomahawk, and Tara (Mike) Mayle, also of Tomahawk; her grandchildren, Adam, Corrine, and Blake Teske, Marissa and Makenzy Moritz, Bailey Mayle, and Morgan Benefield and Samantha Carithers; and her great-grandson, Colt Teske, with her great-granddaughter arriving in November. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Dimple; her husband, Dale; her granddaughter, Morgan; and her siblings, Richard, Shirley, and Patricia.
