On March 27, 2026 Donna Mae (Bish) Elliott, our beloved Mom, joined her family including her parents Alfred and Geraldine (Shields) Bish, along with sisters Helen (Bish) Bullman and Jean (Bish) Flaugherty and brother Dicky Bish; also, sister-in-law Nancy Seeley and just recently her beloved husband Thomas R. “Tom” Elliott who passed away on March 9, 2026, in her pursuit of continued happiness.
Mom had an adventurous life with Tom. She went skydiving, Rocky Mountain climbing and explored the roads from here to California. She cruised Alaska and went deep sea fishing in Florida. A replica of her rose tattoo can be found on her great-granddaughters Talissa and Constance.
She worked for 31 years at Polk Center and enjoyed including her individuals with her family.
Mom never met a pair of shoes she didn’t like.
In 1977 she met Tom Elliott who she married that November.
Left to carry on are her children: Connie Covington, Louis Stiver II and Jennie Allen and Tom’s seven children: Linda Brodie, Nanette Holtz, Brenda Mageras, Marla Elliott, Tina Heck, Tim Elliott and Aleta Cade. Her 21 grandchildren she shared with Tom, who gave her endless joy including: Holly, Heidi, Liz, Louis III (Margi), Tim and Dan (Becca). Her numerous great-grandkids including: Jakob, Talissa, Aidan, Constance, Alisa, Alexis, Louis IV, Logan, Waylon, Lincoln, Ava, Ronin and Neven.
She also leaves her very special girls: Lynn and Kim along with her very beloved sisters: Shirley (Alec) Spangler and Doris (John) Malloy. Also, many special loving nieces and nephews. Mom also enjoyed her special relationship with her sister-in-laws, Dot, Bonnie and Marty.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 99 Franklin St., Stoneboro, where family and friends are welcome from 4 – 7 pm, Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
A Memorial Picnic, will be held at a later date.
