Donna Epperson Obituary

Published by Legacy on Dec. 26, 2025.
Donna Morcom Epperson, (Donna Gail Morcom), passed away peacefully on December 16,
2025, in Fairfax, Va. Donna was 76 years of age at the time of her death. Born on May 23, 1949,
in Lynchburg, Va, Donna was a native of Madison Heights, Va., and raised her family in the
surrounding areas until relocating to Va Beach in 1993. Donna worked at the Commonwealth
Attorney's office as a paralegal for over 20 years, a career marked by dedication and
professionalism, before retiring in 2016. Donna spent her precious free time volunteering for the
United Way, the "Every 15 Minutes" program, and was active in her local Civic League. Second
to her family, kids, and grandkids, and great-grandkids, Donna absolutely loved the beach, the
ocean, sand, and everything that goes with it. Donna's favorite pastime was traveling to different
countries, and states, finding paradise wherever she landed. Being the devoted Nana she was,
Donna loved taking her kids and grandkids on vacations every year, and was included in every
aspect of their lives.
Donna was preceded in death by her father, Thomas William Morcom; Step-mother
Margaret Morcom; and her mother Lorine McFaden Morcom.
Donna is survived by her brother, William (Bill) Morcom (Rosalie); her children, Keith B.
Meidling (Michele), Jennifer E. Olivas (Scott Brown), and Megan L. Epperson; and by her
cherished grandchildren, Hunter D. White (Alexia), Garrett Meidling, Gerard Olivas, and Sara
Olivas. Great Grand children, Zachary D. White, and Emily E. White. Donna also left behind
many cousins, extended family, and close friends.
Donna will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her friends, and to enjoying
the simple pleasures in life. A Celebration of Life will be held on Jan 10th, 2026 at the Academy
Center of the Arts in Lynchburg, Va, 600 Main St. between the hours of 2pm-5pm. Rest in
Eternal Peace, Nana. We love you always.
