Donna Marie Fanelle
on December 19, 2024, of Blackwood. Age 81. Beloved wife of Benjamin R. Fanelle, Jr. Devoted mother of Jacqueline Winner, Benjamin Fanelle, III, and Peter Fanelle (Francesca). Loving grandmother of Lia, Anthony, Alexis, Natalie, Peter, Jr., Lauren, ElisaBeth, Frankie, Benjamin, IV, and Taylor. Proud great-grandmother of Mac, Madalaina, Annelise, Aubree, and Riley. Dear sister of Mark Siracusa, and the late Baby Jimmy, John "Jackie" Jesullo, and Denise Magliocco. Cherished daughter of the late Frank Jesullo, and Eleanor Siracusa (Peter).
Donna met her Bennie at a dance 65 years ago. They married three years later recognizing their 62nd Wedding Anniversary this past July 27. They were always the best dancers on the dance floor having impeccable timing and rhythm. They flowed effortlessly. She and Bennie possessed movie star quality. They were a dynamic couple! Donna loved to dance. Whether it was with Bennie or with family and friends at social gatherings, Donna was a fixture on the dance floor. She was always impeccably dressed – winning Best Dressed at Williamstown High School in the early 1960s. She certainly loved her "bling, bling" which suited her personality so very well. She was our Sassy Diva girl.
Donna was a loyal and dedicated wife, fierce and protective mother and a loving grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin, friend and fur mom. She was a compassionate caregiver to her pets throughout the years. She was a voracious reader. You could always find her with a book in hand. She was a talented artist who excelled at oil painting and sketching. She sewed beautifully, whether it be clothes for her children, a dress for herself or curtains throughout the house. She was the consummate decorator. She created a lavish home. Donna enjoyed going to the casinos in Atlantic City with Bennie, anything Cape May related and gardening. She loved antiquing with a passion. She had an eye for anything extravagant and beautiful – just like her!
In honor of our special girl, we encourage you to wear your blingiest of bling, your favorite rhinestone outfit to her services whatever it is that makes you "extra" ala Donna Marie! She would be floored!
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Saturday, December 28, 2024, 8:00 – 10:00 am at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Peace Parish, Williamstown. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Williamstown.
In honor of Donna's life, in lieu of flowers or other acts of sympathy, her family would encourage any donations to Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center.
