Donna Lee Farnham was born and ready for adventure on June 8, 1932 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Nellie Meade and Ernest Helgeson. She was married to James Gahagan and they had three children, Mike Gahagan (Connie), Debbie Bridges (Joe) and Dean Gahagan (Hilary). She and James were divorced and then she met the love of her life, Bill Farnham, and they were married on May 8, 1981. Bill passed on Aug. 28, 1998.
Bill was the love of her life; you could see her and Bill going around to different car shows on weekends. Even though she never quit, some of her light left when he passed. She lived in her house for many years after Bill died to the age of 92. Then she had to have 24-hour care, and her family had to make the difficult decision to move her into a nursing home in Cody, Wyoming, where she received excellent care. God took over and brought her home to be with him on Friday, Aug. 29, 2025. I never knew a time when mom didn’t talk about God or have a Bible in her home. After Bill passed, mom became a world traveler. She visited Paris, Hawaii and all through the United States by herself. Her greatest love was fixing hair at the nursing home in Powell where she volunteered regularly. Donna was a woman of many likes; she loved crossword puzzles, reading, sewing of any kind, quilting with the women at church, and playing the organ. She was a stenographer for many years at Montana Employment Service. She also worked at First Bank and Northwest College in Powell.
Donna adored her family and they her. Her survivors are Mike and Connie Gahagan, Cavan and Kaylie Gahagan, Alma, Ryley Gahagan, and Adena; Eleanor; Debbie and Joe Bridges, Dan and Carol Bridges, Charlotte and Catherine; Joleen and Tony Giovanini, Angel Bridges and Khalil Snekcim, Tavyn, Kamari, Adriel, Faith, Micah, Lydia, Quinn and Kolter; Dean and Hilary Gahagan, Phillip and Tami Heddon, Austin, Danny Heddon, Renee Robillard, Dominic, Mayson and Cole Heddon; Erin Farnham. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Lois, her granddaughter Molly Hale and husband Bill Farnham.
