She was born October 5, 1931, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Vernon and Rose (Traurig) Brennan. Donna attended schools in Manitowoc and graduated with the class of 1950 from Lincoln High School. On January 31, 1952, she married Arthur Fricke at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on May 11, 2001.
She is survived by three daughters: Lori Krupkat, Manitowoc, Kim (Ron) Leitermann, Manitowoc, Heidi (Ralph) Hackmann, Manitowoc; eight grandchildren: Aaron Rappel, Manitowoc, Rhiannon Rappel, Manitowoc, Adam (Ami) Rappel, Minnesota, Zachary Hackmann, Stevens Point, Brennan (Tori) Hackmann, Manitowoc, Kali Hackmann, Manitowoc, Gabrielle (Jordan) Umlauft, Athens, Wisconsin, Storm (John) Novak, Manitowoc; two great grandchildren: Isabella Rappel, Manitowoc, Deaglan Hackmann, Stevens Point; two sisters: Judy Novak, Manitowoc, Bonnie Perry, Manitowoc; one sister-in-law: Leota Fischer, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. She is preceded in death by her parents: Vernon and Rose Brennon; husband: Arthur Fricke; one son: Brian Fricke; one son-in-law: Dean Krupkat; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
A private family life celebration has taken place at the Pfeffer Funeral Home with Deacon Alan Boeldt officiating the service.
Lakeshore Family Funeral Homes, Pfeffer location, assisted the family with arrangements.
