Donna Gilleran Obituary
Born on September 24, 1948, in Chicago, she was the daughter of the late Santo and Marie (née Alberti) Rotondo. Donna relocated to Fort Myers in August of 2021 after spending most of her life in Illinois. She worked as a school bus driver and was a beloved longtime hostess at the Terrace Restaurant in Addison, IL. Known for her resourcefulness, Donna was incredibly handy and found joy in crafting and crocheting. She was also a devoted member of the Fort Myers Seventh-day Adventist Church.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Thomas M. Gilleran of Fort Myers, FL; her three loving sons, Mike T. Gilleran of Estero, FL, Ryan C. Gilleran (Erin) of Lombard, IL, and Joseph S. Gilleran (Robyn) of Bartlett, IL; and eight cherished grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Chris, Tiffany, Andrew, Ally, Abbey, Jessica, and Jayden. She is also survived by her brother, John Rotondo (Judy) of Bloomingdale, IL.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home, 28300 Tamiami Tr. S., Bonita Springs, FL. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM.
