Donna R. Hinderer, age 62, of Stone Creek, went home to be with the Lord suddenly, surrounded by her loved ones, on January 22, 2026. She was born in Canton, Ohio, to William and Carolyn Long on May 13, 1963, and was a graduate of Canton South High School.
Donna spent many years as a professional driver. She drove a school bus for Jackson Local Schools and was also licensed to instruct and examine new CDL drivers. She concluded her career driving coach buses, combining her professional skills with her passion for travel. In her free time, she enjoyed being in the garden, canning, gator rides, and tending to her chickens. Her greatest love of all was her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, David; daughters, Claudia Hinderer (Nick Bender) and Wendy (Andrew) Frye; mother, Carolyn Littlefield; brother, William "Billy" (Deborah) Long; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Littlefield and Keith Hinderer; sister-in-law, Becky (Dan) Quinn; grandchildren, Jensen Bender, Daxton Lee, Ella Nicole, and Mallie Marquette; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Deanna Littlefield.
Donna's family will hold a service at the cemetery for family and close friends on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 2:00pm. She will then be laid to rest at St. Jacob's Cemetery in Stone Creek. The family will receive guests for a celebration of life at The Farm beginning at 3:00pm on the same day.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in honor of Donna to St. Jacob's Cemetery Association (7515 Hawkins Hollow Rd. S.W. Stone Creek, 43840) or to the Ohio Fallen Heroes Memorial.
