Stacey Lynn Howell, 58, of Canton, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 3, 2026.
Stacey was a proud graduate of Canton South High School, Class of 1987. She was known for her warm heart and strong love for her family. Stacey especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed fishing whenever she had the chance.
She shared a deep and lasting bond with her soulmate, Lawrence Moore. Though they never had the chance to marry, they spent 19 loving years together and built a life filled with companionship, love, and memories.
Stacey was preceded in death by her son, Jesse Hill Jr.; her father, Jerry Howell; her grandparents, Bonnie and Joe Mason and Helen and Don Shine; and her uncle, Larry Howell.
She is survived by her daughter, Ashlea (Rosemond) Kimbrough; her mother, Sandy Mozden; and her stepfather, Dave Mozden. She is also survived by her siblings Erin Howell, Dave Mozden, and Rodney Mozden.
Stacey was a proud and loving grandmother to Rose'Ayre, Jesselle, Jesse, Rose'Aun, and Avaunni, who brought immense joy to her life.
Stacey also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, whom she cared for deeply. She shared a special bond with her godchildren, Julien, Savannah, Samantha, Sabrina, Davante, Denell, and Denzell. Stacey will also be deeply missed by her dear friends Stacie ("Toot"), Jamie, Erin, Kevin, and Marta, along with many others whose lives she touched.
Stacey will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to family, and the deep love she had for her grandchildren, who brought her so much joy. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
In honoring Stacey's wishes, there will be no formal funeral services. A small memorial celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
