Donna Lurita House, 87, of Junction, Texas died Wednesday, June 7, 2023.
Visitation will be held 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Monday, June 12, 2023 at Kimble Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at the San Saba City Cemetery with Michael and Rosaura Miller, from All Walks of Life Ministry, officiating.
Donna Lurita House was born October 24, 1935 to Ona Violet Johnston in Yale, Oklahoma. Donna married Williard Gage House on October 25, 1957 in Winkler County, Texas. She was a member of Grace Temple Baptist Church in Kermit; where she served as secretary and taught Sunday School. She later served as the secretary of Belvue Baptist Church in Kermit. Donna retired as the financial secretary purchasing agent, after working for 25 years with the State of Texas at the West Texas State School, a children’s home in Pyote, Texas.
Donna was preceded in death by her mother, Ona Johnston and husband, Williard G. House.
Those left to honor her memory include her son, Edward House and wife Debbie of Junction; three grandchildren, Kelly Dawna House and partner Kevin Stout of Big Lake, Michael Gage House and wife Charity and daughter Zaydee all of Albany, and Justin Randall House of Junction; six great-grandchildren, Destinee, Treasure, Austin, Aaron, Coltin and Allison; three great-great-grandchildren, Adalynn, Christian Jr., and Ellie; and her special friends, Bobby Hagemann and her son Aaron and daughter Dakota; Velda Simon of Kermit and Sue Bradford of Kermit.
Memorials may be made to: All Walks of Life Ministry, shut-in and home ministry, 414 Kneeland St. Junction, TX 76849; in care of Michael and Rosaura Miller.
