Janesville, WI - Donna Mae (Shannon) Johnson, age 90 of Janesville, WI passed away on May 6, 2025 at Cedar Crest, Janesville. Donna was born in Janesville on August 6, 1934, the daughter of Walter and Zella (Olin) Shannon. Donna was a longtime employee of the Parker Pen Company. She married her loving husband, Charles Johnson and later married Gerald Lambert.

Donna enjoyed many things in her long life: watching her grandchildren play sports, watching the Brewers and Packers, She especially enjoyed the many winters she was able to spend in Casa Grande, AZ. Later she enjoyed playing bingo and Wii bowling with her Cedar Crest friends as well as building puzzles and a good Margarita.

Donna is survived by her brother; David Shannon; her daughters, Connie (Kerry) Wood, Mary (Mike) Oium, Elaine (Rick) Janes; grandchildren, Rodney Ballmer, David Marsh, Garrett Ballmer, Kenny Wood, Joey Ballmer, Marshall Oium, Brittany Janes, Morgan Janes, Dalton Oium, Alley McGuane, Kendy Cox, Clayton Sampson, Jarrett Sampson; 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Zella Shannon; husbands Charles Johnson and Gerald Lambert; sons, Duane and Mike Ballmer; sisters, Barbara Christensen and Beverly Knudson.

Donna's family wishes to thank her care giver, Becky Hanson, the Cedar Crest Staff and Mercy Health at Home Hospice for all of their care and support.

Donna's funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at ASBURY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 1810 Kellogg Avenue, Janesville. Rev. Scott Walters will officiate. Visitation will be at the church from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 13th. Entombment will be in the Milton Lawns Memorial Park Mausoleum.
