Donna Jordan Obituary

Published by Legacy on Aug. 18, 2025.
Donna Kathryn Law Jordan, age 75, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away on August 14, 2025, after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and raised in Camden, Arkansas, she was the cherished daughter of Patricia Law. Donna is survived by her loving husband, Alan Jordan; her daughters, Kathy Jordan and Susan Jordan Shank; her granddaughter, Simone Jordan White; and her sister Jennifer Law. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jeffrey Law and David Law; and her parents Patricia Law and Pascal Law. Donna was proud to have her name etched into the sidewalk of the University of Arkansas, where she graduated with a degree in social work. She enjoyed a fulfilling 30-year career in insurance and dedicated her time to volunteering with the U of A Alumni House. An avid golfer, she won numerous tournaments and cherished the time spent on the course with her friends. Donna had a zest for life that was evident in her love for the outdoors-whether riding her horse, Slim, strolling through her neighborhood collecting coins, playing sports, or catching a Razorback game. She was known for her gorgeous smile, perfect chocolate chip cookies, quick sense of humor, and her kindness to everyone she met. A small, private service for family will be held to celebrate Donna's life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. Donna's family is immensely grateful for the outpouring of support during this time of grief. They find comfort in knowing that Donna is embarking on her next great adventure, and asking her favorite question: "Okay, gang, what's next?"
