Donna Marie La Cour Sutton

Donna Marie La Cour Sutton was born and raised in Liberty, Texas, on September 26, 1963. She passed away on October 25, 2025, after bravely facing cancer for many years. Donna was quiet and gentle, except when it came to her sons and family. She cared deeply for her sons, brothers, nieces, and nephews. If someone needed her, she always did her best to help.

About ten years ago, Donna met the love of her life. Together, they enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time on their farm, which was full of chickens and cattle. They often set off in their truck with no plan, simply enjoying wherever the road would take them.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Sutton, her Mamaw who she loved dearly and spent summers with, her grandparents, Don and Leatha La Cour, and Mary Baker. She is survived by her parents, Don and Patsy La Cour, her mother-in-law, Fran Pollard, her sons Jacob Young, Joshua Young and his wife Maddi, Jeremiah Sutton, Jimmy Sutton, and Dakota Morgan, her brothers Mark La Cour and his wife Carolyn, Damon La Cour and his wife Susan, and Matthew Hundley, Bobby Baker, Teresa Rodriguez, Debra Biccum, as well as her nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
