Donna Marie Lemon

Donna Marie Lemon, 56, of the 900 block of Smoke Tree Lane, Virginia Beach, died unexpectedly on March 2, 2024 in her home. Born in Brooklyn, New York she was the daughter of the late Robert H Kermon Jr and Rosemarie Pellegrino Kermon.
Donna was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, niece and friend to many. After graduating from Green Run High School with honors. Donna pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Norfolk State University, where she also graduated with honors. Upon graduation, Donna began a long professional career in the banking industry. She finally settled in with the consulting firm Ernst & Young.
Donna truly enjoyed traveling to New York, whenever she could, to visit family. While there, she would always stop by the local bakeries and bagel shops to bring "supplies" home for all of us to enjoy.
Donna also loved Dunkin Iced Coffee and Kung Foo Tea. I'm pretty sure both places will notice a drop in their sales.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband Mark Lemon. Survivors include her sister Lisa Kermon, boyfriend John, her children Krista, Laura and Tyler. Her brother David Kermon, wife Tonya, their children Hayley, Gabriella and Matt. Close family and friends in New York, Virginia, North Carolina and Indianapolis. And last but certainly not least, Donna leaves behind her fur babies, Vanessa and Vincenzo, who she loved as her children.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2024 at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments 1416 Cedar Road Chesapeake. The burial will be in New York at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Hope for Life. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.hdoliver.com
