Donna Lee Linko, 70, of Star Junction, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at her daughter’s home. Born in McKeesport on July 24, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Genevieve (Gobel) Ilgenfritz.  

Donna spent much of her life in Rostraver Township and Star Junction. She was married to William J. Linko Jr. for 54 years, and together they built a life full of love and family. 

Donna enjoyed a long and dedicated career, managing Colortyme in Greensburg for over 20 years, followed by 13 years at Walmart in Belle Vernon before retiring in 2016. She later worked part-time at Speedway in Perryopolis before retiring completely.Donna was known for her quick wit, her warm heart and her ability to make friends wherever she went. Donna had a special love for local Bingo games, but what she loved most was bragging about her grandchildren, of whom she was incredibly proud!  

She is survived by her loving husband, William; son, William J. (Aparna) Linko III of Oakdale; daughter, Kerry Ann (Todd) Power of Perryopolis; five cherished grandchildren, Brandon M. Linko, Ryan A. Power, Katelyn A. Power, Dev W. Linko and Shaun W. Linko; great grandson, Grayson M. Linko; brothers, James Ilgenfritz and Richard Ilgenfritz; and sister, Sandy Richie.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Ilgenfritz; and sisters, Betty Lou Sawders and Delores Snyder. 

Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where Prayers of Transfer will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Perryopolis with Rev. Rodolfo Mejia presiding. Interment will follow in St. Vincent Cemetery, Latrobe.
