Lois Ann Linko (Lindsey)78 of Jefferson Township passed away at home on September 15, 2025. Born in Scranton to Tracy & Ann Lindsey (Griffiths) she graduated from West Scranton High School in 1964. After her marriage to Thomas Linko, she spent many years living in Jefferson Township where she was a devoted member of the Moscow United Methodist Church. She was employed by Bell Telephone in customer service.

She was an animal lover who adored her many pets especially her dogs Violet & Ivy.

She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Linko, her Parents Tracy & Ann Lindsey, her brothers David Thomas Lindsey (Helen-deceased), and Robert Chester Lindsey. She is survived by her loving niece Marci Lindsey Hosier (Barry) and their children Morgan & Aiden of West Pittston with whom she shared many dinners, laughs and adventures. Other nieces & nephews including Robert's daughter Stacey Lindsey Shattuck (Bryan) and her children of Scranton. Her cousin Deborah Davis was a friend & confidant throughout her life. Her sister-in-law, Mildred McGraw.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton on October 18. Friends & relatives may visit from Noon to 2pm.

In lieu of flowers or other gifts donations may be made in her name to Griffin Pond Animal shelter on their website at Griffinpondanimalshelter.com or by mail 967 Griffin Pond Road, Clark Summit, PA 18611 or to MMI Preparatory School at MMIPrep.org or by mail Attn: Lois Ann Linko Memorial Fund 154 Centre Street, Freeland, PA 18224.
