Donna Malnar Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Camino Del Sol Funeral Chapel & Cremation Center on Jul. 9, 2025.
Donna Kay Malnar (nee Maxwell), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on July 5, 2025, at the age of 78 surrounded by her loving family. Donna was born on June 6, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois. A devoted homemaker throughout her life, she also spent time working at a local hospital, always nurturing and caring for those around her. Donna gave generously to her community, serving for many years as the head cheerleading coach for Pop Warner Football and proudly participated with the Sun City Drill Team after moving to Arizona in 1997. Later in life, Donna embraced her creative side, enjoying painting and artistic expression. More than anything she cherished time with her family - Her husband of 56 years, Ronald Malnar; her children, Cindy Malnar and wife Mary McNaught; Sherry Curtis and husband, Tom Curtis, and Ronald Malnar Jr. and wife Kimberly Malnar; her grandchildren, Amanda, Ronnie, Brooke, Brandi, and Sam as well as her great-grandchildren, Tatum, Jordyn, Harper, and Hazel. She is also survived by her beloved cat, Smokey, and her treasured granddog, Bruce. Donna's care-taking nature, and selfless love left a lasting mark on everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. A Celebration of Life and meal will be hosted by the family on July 28, 2025, at 5:00 pm in the Quail and Coyote rooms at the Sun City West Foundation.
