Donna Manis

Donna Ruth Manis, 62, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Monday, December 9, 2024. She was born on August 30, 1962, in Rogersville, TN to Lloyd and Sue Manis. Donna was a special person who brought joy to all who knew her. She was dearly loved by her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. Donna was a wonderful big sister to her three younger brothers. She was a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews. She loved animals especially her dog Bob, riding around on her golf cart, swimming, and going to Dollywood. Throughout the years she attended Choptack Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Walter and Pearl Manis, Harve and Maude Ferrell, and her brother, Michael Manis.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving parents Lloyd and Sue Manis of the home, and her brothers Greg Manis (Becky) and Stewart Manis. She is also survived by her nieces nephews Amanda Manis-Horton, Dillon Manis (Courtney), Victoria Eldridge (Isaiah), Ryle Drinnon (Chase), Keircee Manis, Liam Manis, and Joseph Durham, and two great nieces Laively Manis and Nora Horton. In addition to her family, she is survived by special friends Donnie and Kathleen Fortunato, her dear friend and caretaker Jessica Gibson, and many other cousins, friends, family members, and neighbors.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Friday, December 13 at Christians-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm with Rev. Keith Osborne officiating. A graveside service will follow the funeral, in Choptack Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Greg Manis, Dillon Manis, Chase Drinnon, Kelsey Price, Clay Price and Donnie Fortunato. Online condolences may be sent at www.christiansells.com.
