Donna Sue Manthey (nee Craghead), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024, at the age of 79. Beloved wife of the late Jack Manthey; cherished daughter of the late Ray Keith and Luella E. Craghead. She is survived by her children, Robert (Charlotte) Manthey and Debra (Shawn) Galloway; grandchildren, Sarah and Jack; brother Larry Craghead; and extended family, Stacey Manthey.
Donna embodied a unique blend of sweetness and stubbornness, portraying a character that was both independently strong and warmly compassionate. Her fiercely independent nature was complemented by a beautifully warm heart, making her a captivating presence in the lives of those around her. Avid in her pursuits, Donna found solace and joy in the realms of literature and travel, immersing herself in the wonders of different cultures and stories. Beyond her literary adventures, she held an affection for the St. Louis Cardinals and NASCAR. Donna was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
