A memorial will be held in her honor on Saturday, July 26, 2025, between 10:00 to 12:00pm at LeCompte Johnson Taylor. Donna McNees was born on August 18, 1974, in Winchester, Kentucky to the late James Edward Finney and Lillie Kathleen Calvert. Donna will always be remembered by the smile on her face and the love in her heart. She was sweet, loving, devoted and hard working. God and family meant the world to her. She believed her son, Andrew, hung the moon. Donna was a member of the Farmdale Baptist Church; she also loved to cook, bake and craft. She is survived by her husband, John McNees; son, Andrew McNees; siblings, Kenny Finney (Tina), Clay Finney (LaShawna), Danny Finney (Donna), Tammy Jo Finney Ford (Kevin); mother-in-law, Janice Taylor; father-in-law, George W. McNees; three nephews; two grand nieces and two grand nephews; and her long time friend, Teresa Sullivan. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Ed Taulbee and her nephew, Christopher Holt Finney. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to the Ronald McDonald House.
