Obituary published on Legacy.com by Thompson Funeral Homes - Lexington on May 8, 2024.
Obituary of Donna Mae Midgette
Donna Mae Midgette (McFall) went to be with our Lord on May 7, 2024. She was raised by loving parents that lived out their Christian values by caring for over 300 foster children in their lifetime. She fell in love with and married Bobby Midgette and together they spent a lifetime in ministry, raised five children and lived all over the country after Bobby joined the US Army as a Chaplain.
In addition to raising five children, Donna helped Bobby launch and run churches, she led children's programs and Sunday school often while working full time in other jobs. Although Donna had many jobs in her lifetime, her favorite roles were schoolteacher, instructor for the US Army AIT School and Education Specialist in the US Army's Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention Program.
Donna enjoyed music and singing. She was an avid reader, and she passed her love of reading and learning on to her children and grandchildren.
Donna Mae Midgette is survived by her sister, Faith; her children, Tamara Davis (Keith), Timothy Midgette, Benjamin Midgette (Charlotte), Catherine Sanders (Michael), and Steven Midgette (Heaven); her grandchildren, Erin, Jill, Daniel (Tania), Willa, Owen, Camron, McKenzie, and Callum; and her great-grandchildren, Anthony and Aria.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at Thompson's Funeral Home, Lexington, May 11, at 3:00pm to 4:30pm.
