It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Agness Misener, who left us peacefully on February 13, 2025, at the age of 61. Born on April 20, 1963, in Madison, WV, to Noah Thomas Clark and Barbara Ann (Salmons) Vine. Donna spent her later years in Grand Ledge, MI, where she built a warm and loving home filled with the laughter of family.
Donna was a devoted homemaker, but her true joy came from being a grandmother. She cherished every moment with her grandkids. Donna had the ability to remember all of her family's birthdays and marking each occasion with love. She was known for her kind heart, which she poured into her family.
An avid dog lover, Donna had a special bond with her beloved chihuahua, who brought her as much joy as she brought to others. She had a zest for life that showed through her love of travel and her passion for finding treasures at garage sales.
Donna is survived by her son Terry (Stormie) Misener Jr., her daughter Sarah (Josh) Shope. She also leaves behind her mother Barbara Vine, her brother Kevin McClure, her sister Rhonda (Tom) Price, and a host of grandchildren: Joel Rucker, Kaitlin Hopkins, Kenadie Hopkins, Teagan Misener, Terren Misener, and Leigha Shope along with her longtime companion, Terry Misener Sr. She was preceded in death by her son, Jason Misener and her father, Noah Clark.
A celebration of Donna's life will take place in the coming weeks, where family and friends will gather to honor the wonderful woman she was and share their treasured memories. The date, time, and location will be announced when they become available.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Capital Area Humane Society, 7095 W. Grand River Avenue, Lansing, Michigan 48906 (https://interland3.donorperfect.net/weblink/weblink.aspx?name=cahsad&id=23). Her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
