A Celebration of Life for Donna and Thomas Morgan will be held at 11:00 AM, March 14, 2026 at the Cowboy Church on the Rock (13803 US-90, Beaumont, Texas 77713).
Donna Jean Morgan, born on December 29, 1957, in Ohio, passed away on January 14, 2026, in Woodville, Texas. She led a fulfilling life, retiring from the Texas Department of Corrections, where she dedicated years of her career to service.
She graduated from Lumberton High School. Donna was known for her loving and caring personality, which endeared her to many within her friends and family.
She was a passionate outdoorswoman who loved to fish and cherished her trip to Hawaii, where she enjoyed the beauty of the islands and the tranquility they provided.
Donna's family includes her son, Jacob Morgan, and his wife, Cherri; her daughter, Meranda J. Pennison; and her beloved grandchildren, Alex and Allie Morgan, Brayden Giustiniano and Tanner Whitworth, and Dylan and Mathew R. Pennison. She is also survived by sisters Jo Anne Walston and Cherie Thorne of Lumberton, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Hunter and Lucille "Hop" Simpson; and an infant brother. Donna's legacy will live on through the love and memories shared by her family and friends.
