Donna Elaine O'Day
August 3rd, 1948 – July 7, 2025
With love in our hearts and peace in our souls, we announce the passing of Donna Elaine O'Day, who departed this world on July 8, 2025.
Born on August 3rd, 1948, Donna was a free spirit, a true child of the earth whose vibrant soul touched everyone she met - living as a proud hippie, full of compassion, wisdom, and an unshakable belief in peace, love, and kindness.
A master of the gentle arts, Donna found serenity in crochet, creating countless items that warmed more than just bodies - they wrapped generations in her love. She was an avid reader, with books stacked high and stories flowing through her veins.
She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Joann Elaine Grandon.
She is survived by her two devoted sons, James Michael Grandon and Robin Christopher Grandon, who carry forward her spirit. Donna leaves behind an extraordinary legacy in her 16 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren, all of whom carry a piece of her in their hearts - her curiosity, her creativity, her laughter, and her love.
Donna's memory will be honored not just in ceremonies or words, but in the way we live: with open hearts, gentle hands, and a little more peace in every step.
A celebration of her life will be held in the way she would have wanted - casual, colorful, full of stories, music, and laughter. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you plant something, crochet something, or read something - in her name.
