Donna Jean Paselk passed away peacefully on September 28, 2024 at the age of 84.
Donna was born on September 30, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan to her parents, the late Frederick and Elsie (née Keast) Salswedel.
She was the beloved and devoted wife of 58 years to the late David Paselk; loving mother of David Paselk, Jr., Deborah (Paul) Ballew, Constance (Kevin) Rzemien and Michael (Colene) Paselk and proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 8 great-grandchildren.
Donna was an avid cook and baker, known for her home cooked meals and Christmas cookies. She loved the Detroit Tigers and never missed an opportunity to watch a game. She enjoyed the Fall season and loved decorating her home with mums, scarecrows and corn stalks. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time together, especially around the holidays.
The family will be accepting visitors at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Friday, October 4 from 10 A.M. to Noon. A Memorial Service will follow at Noon at the Funeral Home.
Those who wish to honor the memory of Donna Jean Paselk are invited to consider a contribution to the Michigan Parkinson Foundation, 30400 Telegraph Road #150, Bingham Farms, MI 48025. Contribution envelopes will be available at the Funeral Home.
