Donna Darlene Pass, 58, of Calhoun, GA, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025, surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born to the late Bobby Ray and Angellee Hicks, also of Calhoun, Donna was a devoted wife, mother, Nonna, sister, and friend.
She is survived by her husband, Donald; her children, Kris Hicks (Emily) and Ashlee Bloom (Ruby); her stepdaughter, Felecia Barnes; and her stepsons, Jeremy Barnes and Danyl Pass (Brandi). She was the proud Nonna of eight: MaKenna, Marlee, Maylin, Maddux, Sydney, Savannah, Cooper, and Kynadee. Donna is also survived by her brothers, Timmy and John Hicks, and her sisters, Robbie Hicks and Lynne Childers.
For 30 years, Donna worked as a scale operator at the Gordon County landfill, now operated by Republic Services. Outside of work, she found joy in reading, crocheting, fishing, and above all, spending cherished time with her family and her beloved dog, Buttons.
Donna’s strength, kindness, and love will be remembered by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, resilience, and devotion that will continue to inspire her family and friends.
Services to honor Donna’s life will be held Friday, September 5th, at 2: 00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Kevin Talley officiating. Burial will follow at Haven of Rest Memorial Park. Pallbearers serving will include Brandon Patterson, Cody Blalock, Tim Childers, Cooper Pass, Seth Schwartz, and Taylor Hicks.
The family will receive friends at Max Brannon & Sons on Friday, between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM, prior to the funeral service.
