In Loving Memory of Donna Carol Phea
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Donna Carol Phea, who left this world on June 28, 2025, in Dallas, Texas, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on June 4, 1966, in Dallas, she was a radiant spirit, touching the lives of many with her boundless kindness and infectious joy.
Donna dedicated many years of her life to her career in housekeeping, where her commitment and diligence earned her the affection and respect of both colleagues and the families she served. She embodied the essence of warmth and compassion, making her a beloved figure not only in her workplace but also within the community. She was a member of Little Bethel Baptist Church in Ladonia, Texas, she carried her faith and generosity through every chapter of her life.
Donna was the life of any gathering, known for her love of dance and her innate ability to make everyone feel welcome. A true social butterfly, she never met a stranger; her ability to connect with people drew a wide circle of friends who cherished her spirit and good humor. Her reach extended far into the hearts of those around her, leaving lasting impressions that will endure through the many stories told in her honor.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Tarran Phea and Dailhya Phea, both residents of Paris, Texas; her son, Danny Chriesman, from Dallas, Texas; and an adoring lineage of grandchildren, including Audrianna McCuin, Kevin Leshaw, Kedran Leshaw, Korshanti Aubrey, Zoi Chriesman, Keyondre Leshaw, Ja'Mya Gadlin, Reona Hunter, Azalea Louise Stewart, as well as great-granddaughters Sincere Speed, Serentity Speed, and Anora Aldridge.
Donna's legacy will forever be celebrated and remembered by her brother, James Chriesman of Dallas, Texas, her sister, Demetriss Chriesman of Bonham, Texas, and her sister, Mary Coleman of Honey Grove, Texas.
She is now reunited in eternal rest with those who predeceased her: her biological parents, James Chriesman and Diane Chriesman; her adopted parents, Burklee Coleman and Opal Coleman; and her beloved brother, Mannie Mitchell.
A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on July 12, 2025, at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, located at 1002 5th St. NE, Paris, TX 75460, commencing at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Richard Harmon officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Leshaw, Keyondre Leshaw, Kedran Leshaw, Zacoreion Harris and Zadaydrin Harris. Friends, family, and all whose lives she touched are invited to gather and pay tribute to a remarkable woman whose legacy of love, laughter, and courage will continue to inspire those left behind.
Donna Carol Phea will be profoundly missed and fondly remembered for the light she brought into the world.
