Donna Marie Prospero

Donna Marie Prospero, 59, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 28, 2023 in Ridgefield, New Jersey surrounded by her loving family. She was a beautiful soul with an affinity for the simple things in life and will be dearly missed. Donna was survived by her parents, Frank and Louise Prospero, her sister, Laurie Prospero (Jackie), her brother Frank Prospero (Rita), their two children, Ava and Nico, her cousin Dina, and second cousin, Rocco.
Growing up in New Jersey, Donna cultivated a love of nature and animals in her childhood that she maintained throughout her life. Ever an "I Love Lucy" fan, she spent her down time relaxing with her two cats, Lucy and Ethel, and would always volunteer to dog-sit her sister's dog, Tyrion whenever she could. She had an amiable nature and would always go out of her way to lend a hand to family or friends. She studied marketing at Berkeley College in New York and later worked at Marketing Perceptions for over two decades. She was passionate about music and the beauty of nature, which she expressed through her love of flowers.
Donna will be remembered as a loving daughter and sister. She loved animals, spending time with her family and friends and savoring life's small pleasures. Please join the family for a celebration of life. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 4pm-8pm, at Blackley Funeral Home, located at 809 Broad Avenue, Ridgefield, NJ. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at St. Matthew's RC Church at 9am. The entombment will follow at Madonna Mausoleum, Fort Lee.
