Catherine Prospero Obituary
Catherine B. Prospero (nee Troy) age 99 of Philadelphia, passed away on April 26, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Francis Prospero. Devoted mother of Gerard Prospero (Janice) and Francis Prospero (Mary Ann); loving grandmother of Gerard (Julia), Brian (Erin). and Daniel (Ana); proud great-grandmother of Luca, Leonardo, Cole and Demitra. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Catherine was a devout Catholic who was proud of her faith and made sure she incorporated it into her day to day life.
Catherine enjoyed casino bus trips to the Jersey shore, playing bingo at her parish senior center and shopping at Kohl's and Boscov's. What kept her most happy, contented and blessed was her ability to spend so many years with her loving family. She was truly blessed.
Relative and friends are invited to her viewing Friday 9:30am to 10:45am Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 819 E. Cathedral Road, Philadelphia, PA 19128. Funeral Mass 11am. Interment to follow Funeral Mass at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA to be reunited with her husband Francis.
