Donna Raynes Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by St. John's Family Funeral Home & Crematory on Feb. 15, 2023.
We celebrate the life of Donna Mable Raynes, 91, who went home to be with the Lord peacefully Saturday, February 11, 2023 in St. Augustine, FL. She was born in Dover, Ohio. Donna absolutely loved decorating and celebrating any and every holiday. She lived for her family and going to church on Sundays. Donna had a heart of gold, so pure. She truly brought light into the world. Donna was married to William "Bill" Warren Raynes. Bill truly was her match. Donna had Christ in her heart and attended Church on the Rock for many years. She had worked at Nease High School until she retired. She loved to garden and spend time with her family. Her spirit will live on through her daughter Julia Horton, and her grandchildren Brittnee Dawn and Richard William Horton and of course her great-grandchildren Elizabeth Dawn, Emery, and Brantley Horton. Donna's 90 year legacy will forever be remembered and cherished in the hearts of everyone who loved her.
Her Smile
Though her smile is gone forever and her hand we can not touch, we still have memories of the one we loved so much, her memory is our keepsake which will never part. God has you in his keeping and you in our hearts. Sadly missed but never forgotten.

My true condolences.
She was one hell of a lady and like a second mama to me. I will miss her dearly. Prayers for healing hearts.
