Bay City, Michigan
Our loving sister and aunt, Donna J. Reetz, age 62, passed away March 12, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family at the Brian's House. Donna was born December 26, 1961 in Bay City, Michigan to the late Donald and Elizabeth (Maus) Reetz. She graduated from Central High School. Donna was a proud health care aid, spending 33 years with North Bay, where she was blessed to make many dear friends. before retiring. After retirement Donna continued to spread her love as a Home Health Aid in residential homes and this kept her spirit alive. Outside of work, she found fun in trying her luck on casino trips and traveling to different areas of the United States. Most of all, time with family meant the most to her.
She is survived by siblings: Helen (Terry) Sisson, Robert (Nigora) Reetz, Karen Reetz; sister-in-law, Penny Reetz; special nephews, Robby and Kaden; along with many other beloved nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Donna was preceded in death by brother, William Reetz, sisters Joanne Reetz, Diane Reetz and Amy Rosenquist; grandparents: Al and Elizabeth Maus, Wallace and Lucy Reetz and two aunts and an uncle Mary Helen Maus, Mary (Ray) Zeitz.
Honoring Donna's wish, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service celebrating Donna's life will be held at 7:00 PM, Friday, March 22, 2024, at Squires Funeral Home, Fr. Jose Cabrera will celebrate. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home from 4:00 PM until the time of service at 7:00 PM. Final resting place will be Oak Ridge Cemetery of Bay City, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, those considering a memorial donation in Donna's name may wish to consider family wishes.
