LIMA -- Donna L. (Davidson) Rizor, 86, passed away at 5:12 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Lima Convalescent Home.
Donna was born on April 29, 1939, in Lewistown, Pennsylvania, to the late Franklin Charles Mann and Della (Linn) Klein. She and her twin sister were raised by their paternal grandparents, the late Charles and Pearl Mann. On Thursday, May 6, 1999, she married Joseph Melvin Rizor, who preceded her in death on June 28, 2010.
Donna loved many things, especially her family and friends, her church, and the occasional iced coffee from McDonald's. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and was at her happiest when spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Donna had a great sense of humor and loved telling stories to longtime friends and family. She was never one to raise her voice, except for maybe when watching her favorite football team, the Ohio State Buckeyes, on TV. She was very strong-willed and a fighter until the end and will be deeply missed by those whose lives she touched along her journey.
She is survived by her children, Debra (Dick) Brayton, and Carla (Michael) Eilerman of Lima; grandchildren: Samuel (Katie) Eilerman of Columbus, Jacob Eilerman of Lima, and Franco Spisso of Ypsilanti, MI; great grandchildren: Levi Eilerman, Jackson Eilerman, and Connor Eilerman; and a half sister, Lucinda (Barry) Shade of Overland Park, KS.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dyana Spisso; twin sister, Mona Bailey; and first husband, Robert Davidson.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Pastor Darrell Bucher will officiate. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Lima.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lima Convalescent Home.
