Donna Kathryn "Kathy" Roberson, age 73, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 1, 2024. Kathy was born February 9, 1951, and grew up in the Plainfield Western Community, in Columbia County, Arkansas.
Kathy was preceded in death by her husband Nevelle Ray Roberson; sister Mary Frances Paradise; and her grandparents Richard and Beatrice Vaughan. She was also preceded in death by uncles Ray Dean, Aubrey, Gerald, Wade, Richard Jr. (June), Perry, Curtis, Billy & Sammy Vaughan, Elvis Holloway; and aunts Mary Cochran, Bernice Jones, Ruth Caskey and Barbara Rhinehart; cousins Wayne Jones, Ronnie Vaughan, Betty Ruth Davis, Mike Vaughan and Molly Waller; and special friend Johnny Kirk.
Kathy is survived by her mother Helen Paradise of Seneca Falls, NY; her uncle Rusty (Frances) Vaughan of Durham, NC; special family members Danny, Julie, Kinsley, Karley and Kagen Gunnels, and Brian, Danette, Mallory and Colton Waller; and friends, Harvey and Pat Ware.
Kathy was the "Anchor" of the Vaughan family. She was always the "Cheerleader" to remind all family members of reunions and kept everyone updated of family news, births, weddings and deaths. She was the one person left in the family that everyone asked about family history and memories. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed in so many ways.
Visitation with the family will begin at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 6. 2024 at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with a funeral service at 2:00 PM with Dr. Eric Goble officiating and burial to follow at Atlanta Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be W.D. Rogers, Trey Roberson, Danny Vaughan, Keith Creel, Bobby Joe Roberson, and Brady Roberson.
